About
At my yearly checkups, the Gynecologists performed biopsies on my Uterine Lining.. I was told that it was starting to petrify or become hard/tough to do biopsies. They all tested me for cervical and uterine cancers every year. I worked in Hematology Oncology Department in healthcare for 5 years, and I have seen all forms of cancer. When I heard the word “CANCER”, it really hit hone for me. At 32-34 yrs old, I had developed “abnormal” cells on my cervix and a little on my uterine wall. From 33-36 I’ve had 7 cycles and one was induced with Progesterone gel capsules to see if the tough lining would shed on its own or if a DNC would be needed. In the whole 37 yrs of my life, I’ve only had just about 24 cycles. I was diagnosed with Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I am at high risk of developing Cervical and Uterine Cancer. Throughout all my medical diagnosis I have always had the support of my wife Jennifer. She has been my shoulder to cry on and my ear when I just need someone to hear me. I couldn't ask for a better life partner. I prayed that I wouldn't have to get a Hysterectomy. Now is the time to start our IVF Journey if we ever wanted to be parents. That’s the one thing we want more than anything in this world.
